ANT+ Network Development
Experience: For over two years, Xelic has been a member of ANT+ Alliance. Our development team has countless hours of experience developing on ANT+ protocol. The team has completed several projects using this technology on schedule and on time.
About ANT+ : The following is an excerpt from the ANT+ website http://www.thisisant.com describing this state of the art network.
“ANT+ facilitates the collection, automatic transfer and tracking of sensor data for monitoring information anywhere, anytime. The key advantage of this unique managed network is device specific interoperability which enables wireless communication with other ANT+ products. This interoperability function (added to the base ANT protocol) now facilitates the reliable transfer of data between sensors and display devices such as watches, heart rate monitors and bike computers. Applicable in sport, wellness management and home health monitoring, ANT is proven with several million nodes shipped to date. ANT+ provides off –the–shelf interoperability to guarantee seamless digital wireless communication in the 2.4 GHz license–free band. Those companies who have adopted the ANT+ promise of interoperability are members of the ANT+ Alliance, a special interest group which fosters optimized brand value and partnerships with other top tier products.”
2.4 Ghz: License-Free Band
No Intervention: Because the ANT+ network operates on a license free band, any product using its protocol receives no intervention from the FCC. In fact, no matter where you are in the world, the network will remain license free. This enables Xelic to offer its ANT+ development services worldwide.
Plenty of Possibilities: By having access to the ANT+ Xelic now has the ability to target designs in the following areas.
- Heart rate monitor
- Speed and distance monitors
- Bike speed and cadence sensors
- Bike power sensor
- Weight Scales
- Fitness equiptment data sensors
- Temperature sensor
Xelic can assure you state of the art development, on this state of the art network.
